Vacancy: IT Support Tech & Systems Admin

The technology department at Park & Fifth is in charge of all things technological for the business, including our production division, e-commerce site, retail locations, distribution center, and Vancouver head office operations. Since the company is small and still expanding, entry-level candidates are welcome to apply; any prior technical IT experience is advantageous. The job will involve working on-site at Vancouver, British Columbia, headquarters.

DUTIES; 

  • Assisting the director of technology in supporting all digital services and technology solutions for Park & Fifth, from planning and acquisition to implementation, management, and upkeep.
  • Keep an eye on, adjust, and maintain technology solutions proactively to ensure Park & Fifth’s continuous expansion.
  • Install, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure.
  • Offer Park & Fifth employees technical support for both hardware and software.

Requirements: 

  • Preferably postsecondary education, training, or work experience in an IT field or a related field.
  • High attention to detail with a drive to standardize and optimize systems and processes. 
  • Capable of facilitating cross-functional conversations and presenting technical information to stakeholders who are not technical. 
  • Capacity to solve new problems both individually and cooperatively. 
  • Working familiarity with e-commerce and retail systems and procedures.
  • Familiarity with MDM programs for Windows and Mac OS. 
  • Familiarity with front-end web development.
  • Knowledge of common programming languages, such as HTML, Javascript, and others, as well as the REST API, is advantageous.
