Distinguished Scholar Awards($15,000 – $18,000 per academic year)
Students who have achieved academic success in high school but have not achieved the SAT or ACT requirements for the First-Year Presidential Scholarship are eligible for this award. The Distinguished Scholar Award varies depending on the student’s SAT or ACT score and GPA. The award ranges from $15,000 – $18,000.The Distinguished Scholar Award is guaranteed for your first year and renewable each year provided you remain a full-time undergraduate student while maintaining a required minimum GPA and satisfactory progress towards a bachelor’s degree. It is renewable for up to a maximum of eight semesters and applied only to tuition.
Charger Award($10,000 – $14,000 per academic year)
This award is presented to students who exhibit strong and consistent academic performance, but do not qualify for one of the other academic awards (Presidential and Distinguished Scholarships). This scholarship is awarded by the Scholarship Committee of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.The Charger Award is guaranteed for your first year and renewable each year provided you remain a full-time undergraduate student while maintaining a required minimum GPA and satisfactory progress towards a bachelor’s degree. It is renewable for up to a maximum of eight semesters and applied only to tuition.
