The goal of the CGS Summer Internship Scholarship is to help deserving students overcome the time and financial constraints of an unpaid internship.

For the summer 2024 semester, a maximum of five scholarships will be given out to cover the costs of a three-credit internship in addition to tuition. The applicants must be registered for 3 internship credits (LCJS, CGS, NPHS, or PUBSRV 1900) and be enrolled in a CGS bachelor’s degree program.

Eligible Countries: US students
Acceptable Courses or Subjects: Any subject offered by the University of Pittsburgh
Admissible Criteria: To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled in a 3-credit internship program (LCJS, CGS, NPHS, or PUBSRV 1900).
- Enrolled in a CGS bachelor’s degree program
- Not eligible for tuition remission
- Demonstrate financial need with a FAFSA on file
- Keep up your academic standing (minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA).
